100% Satisfaction Guarantee

MoonFlower Florist fully guarantees the freshness of our flowers and the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us and let us know within five business days of delivery. We will arrange to have the flowers picked up and replaced completely at our expense. If for any reason a replacement is not possible, we will refund your money 100% in full.
Please note that fresh flowers are living things and require some care and attention after delivery. We include our own Flower Care Card with every order, which provides simple instructions on how to maintain the flowers so that they last as long as possible.
We want you to be confident that you have chosen a quality florist who cares. Our reputation rests on our client's happiness with our flowers and our service. So, please, if you are not completely satisfied, let us know, and we will put it right. We really do mean it when we say we care, and that's The MoonFlower Difference!

Website Security

We protect all your personal information, including credit card and related data, with state-of-the-art website authentication and 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. This is supplied by The Comodo Group, the world's 2nd largest Certification Authority for ensuring identity trust and assurance on the web.
We know that this might sound like a lot of "techno-babble". So we have an expanation of it all, more or less in plain language. Order Info

How: You can order flowers from us 24/7 on our website, or give us a phone call during regular business hours and even talk to a real florist, or shop in person at the store and see a real florist in action! Our location and hours are in About Us.
MoonFlower Exclusives: We have flowers delivered around the world. But note that MoonFlower exclusive products, those whose Item # starts with “M”, are only available for our local delivery area. For our local delivery map, see About Us.
Delivery and Pick-Up: For delivery to residences, hospitals, funeral homes, etc., our normal delivery charge is $9.95 per item, which will be added to your order. Unusual delivery requests may incurr extra charges, so please call ahead. You can also pick-up your order at our shop during regular business hours. There is no delivery charge for pick-up orders, but all pick-up orders must be prepaid.
Out-of-Area Orders: Orders for destinations outside our local delivery area will be fulfilled by a select local florist. Additional florist fees apply, which are $13.95 for Canadian and $15.95 for US out-of-area orders.
While we are a Teleflora member, we don’t just send your order out “on the wire”. If it's outside our local delivery area, we hand-pick an area florist, we phone and make sure they have the all the flowers and materials needed, we send details, instructions, a map for delivery, and anything else that may help. We ask for delivery confirmation, and we take care of payment transfers, currency exchange, local taxes or service fees, long distance, and so on. In short, the florist fee is for getting a professional florist (us) to deal with another professional florist to get your order right, even if it's going to the other side of the continent.
Outside Canada and US: You can order flowers for delivery almost anywhere in the world. International orders however may require additional processing fees and charges. Also, certain flowers, floral arrangements, and delivery capabilities may be limited or unavailable in some parts of the world. For these reasons, we only accept orders for outside Canada and the US by telephone. Please call us for details concerning your specific destination.
Sales Taxes: Applicable sales taxes will be added to the final cost. Sorry, but the government makes us do it. For local orders, GST and PST apply. For other locations, sales taxes depend on the local jurisdiction. Sales taxes are calculated at checkout time according to delivery destination.

Payment Options

Secure Online Credit Card Payment: Our online credit card payments are processed by Beanstream Internet Commerce Inc., a leading high-end secure electronic payment and credit card authentication company. This includes secure capture and storage of credit card transactions, real-time secure credit card processing, anti-fraud checking, payment approval notification emailed both to you and to MoonFlower Florist, and full cancelation and refund capabilities. Also, MoonFlower Florist never sees and does not store your credit information.
Please feel free to check our current Beanstream status at any time by clicking on the Beanstream Secure Processing badge at the bottom left of all our web pages.
Credit Cards: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express online, over the phone, and at the shop.
Phone Orders: If you are uncomfortable with online payment, you can simply order by phone. All you have to do is call us during regular business hours with your order. For additional security, we will ask for the "C V V" number on your card to ensure that you are in physical possession of it. We will get credit card authorization before putting your order through. By the way, we do not store or record your credit card information beyond what's needed for the immediate transaction.
Order Online, Pay by Phone: You can also order online and phone in your credit card info later. This way you can get all your order and delivery details in when you have time, and then just handle the payment part quickly by phone.
At the Shop: In addition to the above credit cards, we accept debit cards and cash at the store. Sorry, but we do not accept cheques.
Corporate Accounts: If you are a business or organization that frequently orders flowers, you can call us to set up an ongoing corporate account. This can include regular invoices, monthly statements, tax receipts, notification procedures, and authorization protocols, according to how you would like to set it up.

About My Info

My Info is a free service from MoonFlower Florist that makes it easier and faster to order flowers. It stores your contact data, provides an address book for people you send flowers to, tracks a history of your orders, and gets you notices of special offers and new products. For example, when you order online, your name, address, etc. will be automatically filled into the order form so you don’t have to type it in every time.
My Info does NOT include credit card information, and you will have to input this every time you order online, or relate it to us if you order by phone. We hope that you will agree that this is a minor inconvenience to maintain security.

We are firmly committed to protecting our customers' privacy.
Information We Collect: If you open a My Info profile on our site, we require your contact information including your name, email and mailing address. MoonFlower Florist may use your purchase history, contact information, or other registration information to send you relevant information to improve our service to you.
When you visit our website, we may also collect general information that does not identify individual users. MoonFlower Florist may use this information to determine our visitors' demographics and interests, so that we can better understand and serve our customers. We may also use this data to check how well our (rather meagre) advertising budget is working. Again, in this case, individuals are not identified.
"Cookies" are small files which store certain information about your activity on our website and are stored on your computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. MoonFlower Florist use cookies to let us know that you are a prior customer and to keep track of your favourite arrangements for the My Shortlist feature. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but allow you to instruct your browser to prevent the use of cookies. However, if you disable cookies, you will not be able to use all the features of our website.
Our Use and Disclosure of Your Information: We may send emails to our My Info users announcing special promotions, changes in our services, new products, new website features, or other information that we believe will be of interest. If you prefer not to receive such emails, you can opt out of the My Info service at any time.
If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities on our website, we may collect such information. MoonFlower Florist may use this and other information that we obtain from your use of our website to troubleshoot problems, display customer comments, and improve our service to you and others.
Third Parties: We do NOT share or transmit customer names and addresses with or to other websites, marketers, or vendors. We may share aggregate statistics about our sales, traffic patterns, and related site information with others, but, if so, these statistics will not include personally identifying information.
Under certain circumstances however, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, at our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that may be illegal or may expose us to legal liability.
Security: This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control. Your My Info profile is password protected. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for Internet security. It encrypts all of your personal information so that it cannot be read over the Internet. All user online credit card information communicated with Paypal also uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software and 128 bit encryption.
MoonFlower Florist does not store credit information in any online database or server. This is for the protection of our customers. We believe this is a small inconvience to avoid possible security risks. Also, all user information on our server is stored in an encrypted format.
Linked Sites: This site contains links to other websites, but we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites.
A Special Note About Children: We do not knowingly solicit data from children, nor do we knowingly market to children. We require that children under the age of 18 use this service only in conjunction with their parents or guardians.
Consent: By using our site, you consent to the collection and use of your information by us as described in this Privacy Policy.
Changes to Privacy Policy: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You should check this page periodically for changes.
No "Perfect Security": Notwithstanding all our efforts, we caution you that "perfect security" does not exist on the Internet. We cannot absolutely ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. For example, we may be required to disclose information to the government or third parties for legal reasons, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
MoonFlower Florist very strongly recommends that you use appropriate firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, or related software while on the Internet at all times. We do use such software at our end, but only you can be responsible for security protection at your end.

Delivery Issues

Please note that we can not be responsible for incorrect delivery information or recipients not being there to take delivery. We check delivery addresses with online maps and telephone directories, and may even print out a street map for the delivery driver. If we have a problem confirming an address, we will let you know. When ordering for delivery, please be sure to give us the recipient's phone number (both land line and cell), just in case we have trouble finding them.
The vast majority of the time, your flowers will be delivered exactly as ordered. But occasionally there may not be anyone at home to accept delivery. In such cases, we will try to leave the flowers with a neighbour, plus leave a notice on the actual recipient's door about where to get their flowers. This works most of the time, but if this is not possible for any reason, we will call you for further instructions to redirect delivery, or have the flowers returned to the shop to try again the next day.
We will do our best to accommodate time call deliveries or special requests, but we cannot guarantee it. Delivery of orders to rural route addresses, hospitals, cemeteries and places of business also cannot be guaranteed. At some hospitals for example, flowers have to be left at general reception or the nurses' station to be taken to the recipient later, which may cause a delivery delay.
On rare occasion, the intended recipient may refuse the flowers, perhaps for allergy reasons, or because your wife or girlfriend is angrier with you than you thought! There is no refund in these cases.

Substitutions

Occasionally substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to unavailability of certain flowers at various times of the year or in different locations. Substitutions may also become necessary due to increased demand during major holidays. Even if the flowers are available, their quality may not be up to our standards. We at MoonFlower Florist are pretty fussy about quality.
If substitution becomes necessary, we take care to maintain the style, theme, and color scheme of the original arrangement, using flowers or containers of equal or greater value. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may have to substitute with another colour. If this is not possible, MoonFlower Florist will call you to make alternate arrangements.
If you have any concerns about flower availability, please call us. As you speak with us, we'll be standing right in front of our cooler and can tell you exactly what's available. And if you order a few days early, we can quickly bring in any special flowers from our suppliers.

Direct Flower Delivery Area: MoonFlower is a quality florist in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and we send our best flowers and beautiful bouquets directly from our retail flower shop to people you care about throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We deliver directly to all 416 area code Metro communities, including , Etobicoke, , , and York. West of Toronto, we go out to Brampton, Mississauga, and Oakville. To the North, we have direct flower delivery to King, , Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, and Whitchurch-Stouffville. And to the East, we deliver flowers directly to Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa. The delivery charge is the same for all areas. For a map, please see Local Delivery Area.
Across Canada and the US: We are full-service florists committed to serving all your floral needs, and we can have flowers delivered anywhere across Canada or the US. In this case, we will directly phone as many florists at the destination as it takes to find one that we are confident will do a great job. There is a fee for this service, but our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee still applies. When it has to be right, it just has to be right!
International Flower Orders: We can arrange to have flowers sent to almost any country in the world. But flower availablility, delivery conditions, and other circumstances may vary greatly depending on the destination. For flower orders outside Canada and the US, please call us for specific information.
Custom Flower Orders: Yes, we do custom requests and special orders! MoonFlower is known for original and creative floral design. If you have something special in mind, or need some help to make the right choice, just call us!
Note thast you can order securely online, by phone, or at the shop, for delivery or for pick-up. Item #s starting with the letter "M" are MoonFlower exclusive designs and are available only in our local delivery area. Other items can be ordered for delivery anywhere through Teleflora, which is like FTD except better in our opinion. Teleflora images are used with permission.
